Once again, family and friends of Jessica Lee Troyer have the privilege of participating in raising funds to send inner-city youth in need to camp this summer.  All monies raised help some of God’s children attend Phantom Ranch Bible Camp in Mukwonago , Wisconsin . These children desire to attend camp and would otherwise not be able to afford this life-changing experience.  Last year your donations made it possible to send 17 youth to camp for a week.  In addition, one 16 year old student was enrolled in a month long discipleship and work training program. Your donations also helped fund 80 students and 30 leaders for a week during Urban Ministries Camp (which began as a result of this fundraiser 8 years ago).

During this uncertain economy, we are faced with decisions concerning wise spending.  When we can, where should we invest?  Please know that any amount donated can make a difference in a child’s life.  God does mighty things with your contributions.  We are asking that you invest in something that has eternal value, a life. We want to give these urban youth a chance to sleep soundly at night.  We wish to place them in surroundings that use nature, God’s Word, and the friendships of counselors and other campers to help them learn to face daily obstacles in their lives.  We want teens to learn to take responsibility for their own decisions.  Churches, mentors, and youth pastors view a week at camp as a valuable part of their discipleship program.  We can give teens the opportunity to have hope and a renewed purpose in their lives, and bring it back to the neighborhoods they call home.

Will you once again join us as we help God’s children?

This annual fundraiser began as a way to remember and honor Jessica Troyer after her death at the young age of 17 in January of 2000.  Jessie attended Phantom Ranch as a child and later worked at the camp.  Phantom Ranch had a great impact on her life and we hope to offer this opportunity to those less fortunate.  Our mission is to bring glory to God, honor Jessie’s memory, and see lives changed.
