Each year that we’ve held the spaghetti dinner fundraiser, it takes us a while to absorb all that has transpired. It takes some time to let everything that so many generous people have done and given, to sink in. From the beginning of the planning stages, on through the dinner and clean up, we remind ourselves that what we are doing is all for God’s glory and no one else’s. This is His ministry, and we are just the vessels He has chosen to do His will.
in the hearts and lives of so many.
Over 200 people attended the spaghetti dinner this year! They feasted on a delicious meal donated by Ricobenes (sauce & sausages), Ed Schmit & Teddy Bear Nursery (meatballs), Fleckenstein’s Bakery (French bread), Auntie Loretta & cousin Traci (salad), the family of Parker Road Bible Church (dessert table), and Wirtz Rentals (all the extras). Once again, Karolyn Koval put together the praise and worship band which excites the soul. We were so pleased to have 4 teens come out from the inner city to express their thanks and share a little of their experience at Phantom Ranch Bible Camp last summer because of your generosity. So many helped with prayers, preparation, serving, and clean up – all the seemingly thankless jobs that make this all possible. To each one of you, we say “Thank You!”
It is such a privilege to take part in making a difference in the lives of others. Your donations of time, labor, money, or food have made an impact reaching far more than you can imagine. Many lives will never be the same. Even as you read this, and in the weeks ahead, over 30 children are and will be experiencing things they would never have dreamed possible without you. May you be blessed as they are.
With gratefulness and love,
2nd Corinthians 4:15 “All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.”
Phantom Ranch will be sending you individual donation receipts.
